My old Kentucky home

Well, I had the oppertinity to visit back home in Ky last week for about 6 days. It wasent under the best circumstances but death is and always will be a part of life.

Kentucky is such a beautifull place and family only makes it better especially with age. My Dad and I got to go out Saturday in his 05? Babyblue thunderbird with the top down to Kremers. A really great store with all the selection you could ever need. And one of the old men that workd thier is a blast. Then we went to 4th st Live. Just another wonderfull thing that the Louisville area is doing to make it the best city in the U.S and keeping it "Weird" as some say. Just wanted to plug this great state and city and see isf anyone else has anything to say about it. Oh by the way, the guy that got me interested in cigars my Dad has now regestired so be on the look out for an old fart with plenty of great stories and great info on cigars and the like.

Couldn't agree more!! The Luhvul crew will have to get your Dad to join our lunch club! Glad you got to come back home, sorry for the circumstances.

Hi Jake.
Thanks for turning me on to this forum.
I'm sitting here puffing on one of those Los Blancos that we found at Kramer's this weekend.

to DonJefe:
What's the Luhvul Crew lunch thing?

We're just 3 cigar fiends who meet up for lunch at least twice a month and enjoy a nice cigar. Always room for one more! We'll be at the Fox & Hound tomorrow @ 11:30 if you can make it!

Re: My old Kentucky home

Sorry for your loss Jake.

Reference Luhvul, it is probably my favorite city in the US. Wish I had the weekend off to partake in Thunder Over Louisville this year, by far the greatest fireworks display anywhere. A nice meal at one of the Chuckwagons, cigar down by the River...man, I wish I was there right now .

Re: My old Kentucky home

I am very sorry about the circumstances of your visit and offer my condolences.

I have lived here all my life and love it. Hopefully the next time you visit it will be under better circumstances and we can all get together for a cigar.
