Hey everyone, Priority mail is going up in price to 4.80 for less than a pound on May 12, 2008.

Seems like we went a real long time without too many postal increases. But now the increases are becoming an annual event. And what's with the amounts? 4.80?? Just make it $5.00 and promise not to raise it again for 10 years. Stop confusing everybody!

I was actually wondering the otherday when they were going to raise the cost of a stamp because of gas prices...

This is pretty funny, some of us are sending out $50-$100 worth of cigars and we are talking about 20cents in postage...

I tell you guys this is crazy--Most of the packages I send out are delieved just as quick as the priority I've sent. Depends on where it's going. I ask how much for first class and then ask how long -- most of the time 2-3days . The same answer I get for priority mail. So just wrap it and get a DCN--less than 1/2--I mail allot so It is the cheaper way.

Get used to it. The postage rates will be increased every May now per the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act.

You can't do first class through click and ship though, can you? Also, I printed up shipping last night, and there was a note at the bottom of the screen saying that it would no longer be available after May. Did I miss something on that?
