So here is what I am thinking for the two year old Ben to give his mommy. I'm thinking a scrap book with scrap book stuff where she can make a page, and then Ben can draw a picture or put stickers or what ever each month. I'm also going to get her some stuff for her garden.

Except for the card, I do most of that every day anyway. Cook, clean, back rubs, and tons of time with my boy... that's pretty much a regular day.

I took Mel's ideas, with a little help from a few others. We went to FLA and Disney back in April. We took the memory card down to the photo lab and had a cool photo book made. My boy picked out all the pictures himself, including the color of the book (pink for mom). For $25 bucks he got a cool 12 page hard bound book with 22 of the best pics from our trip. It was so easy and she loved it. He couldn't keep the secret, so he gave it to her Sat afternoon and (at my suggestion) he told mom he wanted to take her out to dinner (even SHE can't stand a two hour wait for a seat at a restaurant on Mothers Day). So I gave him the money to put in his pocket, he picked the restaurant (I had to REALLY persuade him that McDonalds was NOT a good idea), and he paid the waiter.
Sunday after church we took her on a picnic at the park and then that night he gave her the two clay flower pots he decorated with paint pens. He even picked the flowers that went in the pots. So, thanks to his impatience, we stretched Mothers Day out almost all weekend!!

I got my mum one of those digital picture frames for her desk at work. She really enjoyed it. For my grannies we decided on sending flowers because they couldn't come to our place. So it was a pretty normal mother's day. Has anyone of you every bought one of those digital picture frames? They are really awesome and a great gift.
