No More Priority Mail Boxes?

No More Priority Mail Boxes?
I went to the Post Office today to mail some stuff and get more PM boxes and the lady said that they quit making the Video size box..The one we like to Bomb with and Trade. That would suck cuz the next size to use is a big square Fed Ex type box or a square cube box. I dont know if this ladies info is correct or not but I would stock up..

Well if they are stopping them there are always stores like Staples. I saw that they carry mailing boxes of that size. They also have some round ones which I think are perfect and have received sticks in b4.

Fred, I think you're right. The post office I went to said they stopped carrying them. Only the large one and the flat-rate.. looks like they want to make some money by selling the boxes in the post office on top of the premium they charge for priority mail.

Ding Ding. It was cheaper to ship priority with the provided box than buying one and shipping 1st class.

My post office stopped carrying them a couple months ago. Just order them form the USPS site. There are actually 2 slightly different sizes of boxes in the video size/same price so get the bigger one.

Happened to me too. My post orifice said that you can order them in advance and it depends on the po if they will continue to carry.

Okay so let me ask a stupid question.... Is priority based on the packaging or is it the method of shipping? I thought it was the method of shipping i.e. you can ship any box priority.

It is, but the box was free and it fit cigars perfectly. From my experience if you ship priority you use the priority box. If not, you get priority tape so the post can easily recognize it.
