Johnny Winter - his 1st album.
Rock is a genre that changes constantly. When you hear a rock song from the 80s you immediately know its from the 80s. Same holds true for the 70s, 60s, 90s, - you know by the sound. But the Blues is timeless. Johnny Winter's first album was released in 1969. Last night I plugged my turntable into my computer, recorded both sides, broke each song down to an individual file, did some minor editing, and burned it to a cd. There was room left over for another album - so I also put both sides of 'Nothin' But The Blues' on the same cd. Great, timeless music.
