Stolen!
So I had a PIF coming at me from monkeybong, and it got to my house on Saturday. Unfortunately I was out of town for the holiday weekend and did not get back until Monday afternoon. When I got home, there was nothing on my porch, or in my mailbox. I have my suspicions that it was my neighbors, since there is always a lady outside in the afternoon just sitting there. I think that she watched my girlfriend pack up the car to go, and knew we were going to be out of town. It doesn't look like there is much I can do about it though. Just a friendly reminder to stop your mail at the Post Office when you go out of town.

I had a neighbor who tried to steal a bomb once. told them it was a federal crime to steal mail. i got my sticks

I really feel for ya! I live in an apartment complex with 6 units in the building. I don't know any of the people because I recently moved, but I am thinking of putting a sign over the mailbox stating something like: "Stealing mail is a federal crime" Perhaps that will be a deterrent. Not that I have had anything stolen that I know of, but just in case anyone entertains the thought.

WOW, hard to believe someone would steal the mail. I thought most people would know its a federal offense to mess with mail or a mailbox. It stinks to have neighbors like that!!!

If I suspected a neighbor of this type of thing, I'd knock on their door while one of their kids was staring at the 10 guage... <G> I'd accept "howdy, come on in" as the answer I thought they said... But then, Squids don't hear all that well... And they usually ignore the law in favour of what's the right thing to do... <G>
NOTE: Do not try this unless you're prepared to accept the inevitable lawsuits!!!!! <G>
