Got a letter in the mail today from the City of San Diego Neighborhood Code Compliance

Subject: 7869 Burlington Wy


Our dept has received your complaint in which you allege that the
above address is in violation of the San Diego Municipal Code

A notice has been sent to the reponsible person requesting that the
alleged violation(s) be corrected

Please contact the assigned inspector below between 05/15/06 & 05/22/06
if the conditions have not been corrected or deteriorate further.

So I called Steve to ask for some clarification on a few points
here's what I found out
1. It's illegal to park in your front yard (only your driveway infront of your garage)
2. It's illegal to have a fully cemented front yard (at least 30% has to be landscaped)
3. It's illegal to have 2 driveways unless they are over 100ft apart(so he can't just break up a little cement in the middle & have a driveway on either side of his lot)

4. He had no legal right to apply a towaway sticker to Erics legally parked truck



So now I wait, no one is home at 7869 right now but I think the will hit the fan when they read their letter from the City of San Diego Neighborhood Code Compliance

Had the first sign of action today at 1pm pst
A guy came & measured the front yard, then he took several digital photos
Of course no one was parked in the front yard or home to ask him what the hell he was doing on their property.....
