Good luck! I guess I am lucky, I have made it 40 years with mine and haven't been told to get them removed. Needless to say I am not going to push the issue any.

i went through the same thing in late december, had to 4 impacted to come out. recovery was not so easy for me though, 3-5 days turned into 2 weeks before i felt fully mostly normal

Go to sleep for the procedure and do everything they tell you to do as far as post-operative care. Trust me, you don't want dry socket....
