tragedy on the 4th
All, This is a look at me thread cause I need your prayers. My son was in a terrible accident on the 4th involving himself and a tram/cable car pulley. He somehow touched the cable and got sucked into the pulley severing off his middle, ring and pinkie finger on his dominant right hand as well as breaking his humorus (the bone btween the elbow and shoulder). I drove to Austin and am currently still at Dell Childrens Hospital. he has gone through 2 surgeries and is a tough kid. He looked like shit when i first saw him late Friday night as he was really banged up. It could have been a lot worse. He did like the helicopeter ride to the hospital though. He is in good spirits this morning and we will take this day by day. Please keep Greyson in your thoughts and prayers.

Wow, that is such a tragedy. I will think of your son and your family and keep you all in our prayers. I cannot even begin to know what you are going through or feeling.
How old is your son, and what are they telling you about the recovery process? |

Mike, Greyson, you and your family are in my prayers brother! I hate hearing anything bad happening to children but when its somebody you know it just really breaks your heart. Hey man I know what its like to have a son in surgery! If you need anything, even just to vent I'm here for you and you have my number!

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your son and family. I can not imagine what you are going through. I have a 7 month old son and if anything were to happen to him I do not know what I would do.

Mike, we are so sorry to hear your news. I just called my mom to tell her about what happened...she said, "the boy that carrying the bear around". I wasn't sure if it was bear or not. You and yours are in our prayers. Stay strong. Let us know if you need anything.
