Heh, until April of last year, that WAS my back yard! We moved to West Virginia from Alaska, and now we're preparing to move about halfway back: Spokane, WA. That should be it on moves for awhile though.

Alaska is an amazingly beautiful place; I highly recommend a trip to anyone thinking about it.

You know, you guys are way too tough a crowd for me. I got half a dozen whales feeding in Alaska here and I get 2 responses. One from a guy that just joined. I send out bombs and no acknowledgments. But if I just bought my first something from CI then I'd get 2 pages.

later

I'm new, but just saw that and must say that's entirely too cool. Was that your video?

Andy,
I totally looked over this page in my quick search of the forums yesterday. I'm sorry about the bombs as well. I'd urge you to hang out for a bit as this is generally NOT the norm for the CL community.

Sweet vid there Bear! Did you film that? I've been thinking about an Alaskan vacation for a little canoeing, kayaking, and fishing but it's a bit expensive with airfare from the east coast.

hey, that's kinda neat...

I guess there's some sections of the forums that don't show up on the 'new messages' sidebar? I stumbled across this post by accident :/
