Good morning CL sports fans...I'm stepping up to the plate (unlike the METS), for a spell as Charlie is on the road to support ARMY in their quest to beat Tx A&M. Another heartbreak....naw, another BS game displayed by the Amazen's last night against the Cubs. Yup, bottom of the 9th no outs, lead off batter knocks a triple, game tied at 6! long disheartening story short, bases loaded and not a frig'n run scored. X-Tra innings and Chi took it. BLEW A 4 RUN LEAD. hope all have a great day, happy smoking and long ashes.

Yeah that was something else Zambrano really lost his concentration. Only gave up 3 hits, one for a grand slam. The walks killed him. GO CUBS!!!

Good Morning Charlie and....HOWDY!! The METS pulled this one off last night..WHEW!! 1 game back from PHILLY for 1st place and 3 to go against the FAL Marlins. Not to bad, but it gets better...the BREW Crew, who are tied w/the METS for the Wild Csrd spot finish off their schedule aganst the CUBBIES! I do think the METS will go to the playoffs! College football last night was, IMO, great. USC got thumped! The 'Kid of the Ryder Cup', Anthny Kim is taking it to the FEDEX Cup...this guy is something else. Be it as it may, I wore both the TIDE and DAWGS wear to the gym yesterday and what a reaction I got. Not as bad as getting tossed from Turner Field, but made it a clear choice what I'll wear on SAT!! GO DAWGS!!! Hope all have a good day.

Good day everyone and I hope that things are going great. It's good to see that the Mets are still in and hopefully for my wife that they do. Things are getting pretty busy down here in College Station with all sorts of VIP showing up for tomorrow's game, i.e., Secretary of the Army, 3 Corps Commander, George Bush Sr., etc. There will be stars & bars all over the place and the place is already a sell out. Kyle Field holds 80,000 plus and I'm sure that every seat will be filled. All right guys, I got to run but I'll be back later, enjoy........

Good Morn'n Charlie...I'm jumping in again as I suspect you are get'n ready for an eventfulf day in TX. The Yanks scored BIG on Boston last night and the other side of town....well, they just sucked. Many chances to score and could not cappitalize over the Marlins. The METS might all be done for this year, PHILLY and the BREWERS would have to loose their last 2 games and the AMAZEN's would have to win their last two...dont see that happening. KIM is still atop the FEDEX golf leaders board, and big time college football today! TN v AUBURN, UAB v. S.C., and BAMA to the dawg POUND(n)! Hope yer teams win, have a safe and smokey day.

Good Morn'n Charlie and CL sports fane. What a day in college football...after MI made a wild comeback against WISC, and the Gators lost in the Swamp, I was stoked for the GA/Bama game.....so CROW for breakfast and a slice of humble pie for dessert. Congrats TIDE. The Cubs beat the Brew Crew and SANTANA pulled it out for the METS. A repeat performance by both teams means the METS will play again this year as the Wild Card.. Last regular season game at SHEA this afternoon. The FEDEX Cup is anyone's for the grabbing. Charlie, hope yer trip home was uneventful and we get back the Sports Reporter on MON.

and shockingly 5 of the top 10 lost. A weekend of upsets. The FL loss ruined my entire day yesterday....even worse than working on a weekend did. I feel I will be catching a little flack for a couple of days.

Good morning everyone and yes, the coffee is on. Well, it was a good 4 days in Aggieland but it's great to be home. The final score was Texas A&M 21, Army 17. The Black Knights didn't win but they definitely covered the spread which was 28 points. There was a number of upsets this weekend in College football and there was also some great NFL, MLB and NASCAR on as well. I hope all of you have a great week and you get to enjoy a favorite or two along the way........

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, things are gettin' back to normal around here after being gone for a few days in Texas. Now all I have to do is catch up on all the emails and work that built up at the office. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys........
