Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, the Phillies have advanced to the World Series and hopefully the Tampa Bay Rays join them tonight. For the full storiy, look here:

Well, it was great to see my ole' buddy John Conroy last night at Schlesingers and sit back with him and smoke a couple of primo cigars. Not sure if I'll be there tonight since it's our normal Thursday night get together but if your free and in the area, stop on by and join in on the fun. Good morning all and a big TGIF!!!!!! The coffee is on and I'm still not sure what is planned for breakfast as of yet. Last night I did make it over to Schlesinger's and enjoyed a tastey cigar and hung out with the gang. I see that the Red Sox are holding on to thier Post Season with a win last in Boston. They play game 6 Saturday night in Tampa and if need be, game 7 Sunday evening as well. Well, it looks like this weekend will be filled with college and Pro football, NASCAR and MLB. Army takes on Buffalo this Saturday at Buffalo and it should be an exciting game. Army is going for three wins in a row and they are very pumped up about the game. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets to relax and enjoy a favorite or two........

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Today, Beth and I will head out to a local farmer to pick up some fresh apple cidder and local fruits and vegatables. Later on a number of us are going to the Eisenhower Hall Theatre at West Point to see Spamalot. I love Monthy Python and this being a Tony Award winner, it's got to be great:

Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. Well, Army lost to Buffalo in overtime 27 - 24. It was a back and forth game all day and I give kudos to the Army team as they were an 11.5 point underdog. Tampa Bay Rays also lost to the Boston Red Sox which means that who ever wins tonight will be in the World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. Today there is a number of great NFL games on as well as the NASCAR racers down in Martinsville, VA. It should be a nice fall weather day for a BBQ so I hope everyone has a super Sunday and enjoys.......

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin' as always. Tonight is game 1 of the 2008 World Series down at Tropicana Field in Tampa, FL. It should be a good game and I really don't have a favorite team this year, I just hope it's close and the audience gets a good show. Good morning everyone and yes, the coffee is on. We had a great time herfin' last night with Charlie T., Steve (Toje) and all the S / BOTL that were there last night at Cigar King in Nanuet, NY. We talked baseball, golf, NASCAR and of course cigars. When when I got home, I watched some of the Rays vs. Phillies game with the Phillies winning the 1st game 3 - 2. They play again tonight at 2000 (8pm) in Tampa Bay and then Saturday night they are in Phillie with the 1st pitch at 2000 as well. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and TGIF!!!! It's not the last working day of the week for us though as we have a 12 hour day tomorrow running the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) for the Army vs. Louisiana Tech football game. It should be a good game as they are calling for rain and temps in the 50s, great football weather as long as your bundled up for it. Well, I see that Tampa Bay Rays came back last night and tied up the Series one game a piece. The next ball game will be Saturday night at 2000 (8pm) in Citizen Park, Philadelphia, PA. I have a good feeling that this World Series will come down to 7 games which makes it exciting for all the viewers. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and GO ARMY........

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It was a great weekend sports wise with Army winning over Louisiana Tech 14 - 7, as well as the Jets, Giants and Eagles winning in NFL and the Phillies are now up 3 games to 1 over the Rays in the World Series. This Saturday, Army takes on Air Force here at West Point and it's already a sell out plus this is the Black Knight's final home game for the season so I know that they'll let all the tricks out of the bag for the fans.
