Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. The coffee is on and I'm still undecided about breakfast at this point. One of the ladies in our office turns 29 today and I'm sure that they'll have a cake for her as well as bagels, muffins and fresh fruit. Well, the Yankees lost another one last night as Pettitte on lasted 5 innings and the Bombers lost 8 - 6 to the Texas Rangers. Richie Sexton did hit a grand slam in the 8th but the Yanks just had a tough time recovering from an early 5 - 1 lead. For the full story, look here:

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys a favorite cigar if you get the chance........

G'Morn'n Charlie and CL. The struggling Mets pulled one out last night, a tight race in he NL East. Going to hit 98 degrees today, more H2O, less Guinness today!

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, it was good to see the Yanks win last night as Sidney Ponson's pitching helped out with a score of 5 - 3 over the Rangers. Joba Chamberlain was put on the DL after being taken out of the game the other night was diagnosed with right rotator cuff tendinitis. The Bombers have had quite a few injuries this year but they keep fighting tooth and nail for every win. There's still a good 6+ weeks in the regular season and I'm sure that they will rise to the top as always. Anyway, Beth and I will be heading to Lake George this evening for a short 4 day vacation and will be back Sunday. It's about and hour north of Albany which makes it roughly 150 miles from here. If I don't get online at the hotel, I'll see you all in a few days. Have a great weekend and enjoy........

Goor morn'n Charles and CL. Have a great time at the lake. Watched the Yanks w/a fellow named CAMACHO. Rough collison fpr Pudge, but that seems to be how things are going for the Yankees this year. Snake bitten buy injuries. Altho the METS stunk up the place, still a lot of ball to be played.

Good morning all and as usual, the coffee is on. After a long weekend at the lake, Beth and I stayed home last night and relaxed on the sofa and watched the Olympics. The Moose is back on the mound tonight for the struggling Yankees with the first pitch at 2010 (8:10pm) and hopefully they can pull out a win tonight. Not sure what it is for the Bombers this year, all the injuries, bad luck, unsure but it would be nice to see them turn it around. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys........

Well good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. We had a great time last night at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar seeing old friends and meeting a few new ones as well. Well, the Yankees lost again last night 4 - 2 and this road trip was a 3 - 7 win / loss relationship. They are off tonight and play the Royales in the Bronk Friday evening with a 1905 (7:05pm) start time. Anyway, I've been busy watchin' the Olympics and some of the action is incredable. I hope everyone has a great day and get to enjoy a favorite or two or........

Morn'n Charlie and Sports fans of CL. Great night for the METS...with their shallacking of the NATZ to the tune of 12-0, and some help from ALBERT and the Cards over FLA, and NOMAR being NOMAR with his walk off against the Phils, had tied the METS in 1st place once again! Complimented w/a Greycliff Professional...what a night!

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is brewin'. It should be a nice day weather wise so Beth and I will most likely be headin' over to West Point to partake in thier yearly "Hog Wild" pig roast. The price is $10 a person and it's all you can eat and drink to include beer and wine and all the other extras, i.e., potatoe salad, baked beans, etc. Here is the link and the location is Round Pond Rec Area: http://www.westpointmwr.com/hog_party_flyer_08.pdf.
I'll be sure to bring a few primo sticks as it will be a great day to smoke ceegars as well. Well the Yankees lost another close one last night but on the other hand, it was good to see Michael Phelps get another Gold Medal. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it to the fulliest........
