Good morning all, the El Pico espresso is on and kickin'. It was good to see the Yankees win yesterday in the 13th inning and congratulations to Michael Phelps for getting his 8th Gold Medal and surpassing Mark Spitz record of 7 gold in a single Olympic year. The Pig Roast was great, excellent food, cold beer and primo sticks were being smoked all day. Today, the Yankees are back at as well as the NASCAR drivers in Michigan and the Olympics still hot and heavy. I hope everyone has a Super Sunday and enjoys a few of your favorites.......

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, it was another home run derby in the Bronx yesterday as the Yankees beat the Royals 15 - 6. Moose got his 16th win of the season and for the full story, look here:

On another note, Army has it's football season opener in less than 2 week and it's home versus Temple on the 29th (Friday night) which should be a great game. For the full schedule, I've attached the link from goarmysports:

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, we went to Schlesinger's last night and enjoyed the all you can eat BBQ which includes ribs, chicken, burgers, dogs, peal and eat shrimp, corn on the cob, beans, garlic mash potatoes along with all the condiments and salad stuff. Afterwards, we kicked back and smoked a couple of Gurkha cigars where I enjoyed a Signature Black 1887. When we got home, I watched female beach volleyball match between USA and Brazil and USA smoked em'. Wednesday is the final match to see who gets the Gold, for the full story and photos look here:

The Yankees take on the Blue Jays tonight in Toronto with Darrell Rasner taking the mound with a 1907 (7:07pm) start time. Lets keep them bats hittin' and tighten up this AL East division. Anyway, I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys........

Good morning everyone and a Happy Hump Day wish to all. Well, the Yankees lost a tough one last night 2 - 1 versus the Blue Jays and will be back at it this evening at 1907 (7:07pm). Also, we still have quite a bit of the Olympics left to watch as the US is still in it in reference to the track and field events. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy a favorite or two or........

Good morning all and TGIF. Ths was real a tough week as we lost a dear friend and BOTL over at www.cigarpass.com. My good friend Tom (hudson valley) Johnson passed away Wednesday after being diagnosed with a brain tumor last month. I know that he's in a better now in God's hands. Today will be the services for our dear friend Tom and afterwards we will head back to their house for one last cigar in honor of a great man. Good morning all, the El Pico espresso is on. As it was stated, not a dry eye in the house. We had a good "Nosh" afterwards and smoked a few primo cigars in Tom's honor. Rest in peace brother.

Well, it was good to hear that the Yankees won and hopefully they can get back on that winning streak that they do every year about this time. Today will be a relaxing one enjoying a little BBQ and hopefully catching the Bombers on the TV. I wish everyone a good Sunday and enjoy........

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It was good to see the Yankees win another one in fashonable style. Next, we play the Red Sox here in the Bronx startin' tomorrow at 1905 (7:05pm) with Pettitte on the mound taking on Tim Wakefield. Also, Army has their 1st football game this Friday night here at West Point with a scheduled kick off time of 1900 (7pm). They take on Temple which should be a good match up for the season opener. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a couple of your favorites along the way.......

Morn'n Charlie and CL sports fans. METS had a couple heart breaks and no help from the DODGERS, but HI. won the Little League Series and that was great!
