Sorry for the Absence
Hey guys. I know it's been about 6 weeks, but I should be back with some regularity again soon. I have to mention that I got a couple of bombs while I was out from Cypress, triplezero24, and robisjebus. Thanks for all the great smokes guys! Coach, sorry I missed the herf. I had a humidor for the charity auction, but I haven't been home in a few weeks.
I left Iraq in early July with all intention of coming home for my normal 6 week vacation and a little bit of Army duty. Well, needless to say, that plan went to shit. I got home for a couple of days and had a wedding out of town. Then because of the flooding and state emergency duty one of our subordinate units was short on manpower so I went for a couple weeks to help them out on a stateside mission. Then I had some traveling to do because I hadn't seen my folks or brother in a couple of months so that took a bit of time. I've been in Ft. Leonard Wood for the past few days and just got home. I have enough time to pack now because the wife is making me go on vacation next week. We leave at 5 am tomorrow for Cozumel. That should be nice. Then I'm home for one day and it's back to Iraq lol  . So it's been a little busy around here. When I get back overseas I'll get caught up and should be able to hang around a bit more. Dustin |
