Both have contrasts high enough for anything they can broadcast. With 27000:1, you should be able to count hairs with no problem. I'm assuming they both come from China. They need the help with their economy to finish paying for the Olympics. So, I'd suggest going with the syle you prefer. Barring that, flip a coin.

He has a 42" Samsung for the bedroom that I absolutely love, so we were already sold on the Samsung. We just wanted to be sure that we weren't going to buy something that didn't have what we needed for what our purpose for the TV is, like the gaming.
I can't wait to get the 52", esp since college football has finally officially started. Now, if I can just convince him to let me smoke indoors with a cold one and a game on.... I'd be in heaven!
