I'm such a kid...

...and I like the strangest toys. This week at work we got a new lawnmower! That's right you heard me... I'm excited about a lawnmower.

a 60" Hustler Super Z (27 hp Kohler engine)

Man what a machine. I never would have imagined it was possible to cut grass (and have it look good) @ 15 mph, but now I'm a believer.

I'm used to being bored with a tractor pulling a mower behind it at 4-5mph, so the Super Z is a bit of a (welcome) shock to my system.

I only wish I had enough of a yard to justify having one of my own.

looks good, but where are all the 'sponsor stickers' for that lean mean racing machine?

let's see... judging by the size, maybe Nub would be good for a sponsor?

Yup. Dixie choppers just doesn't seem to have much of a presence around here. Seems to be mostly Hustler, Scag, and Exmark.

My dad has a 72" Super Z, but his land is just too rough to run it flat out, but I'm sure it could do a football field in about that time.

p.s. I love the third pic. It looks like the rear end of some kind of hot rod. I'm such a dork.

If I had a nub sticker I'd put it on! I do have a Holts bumper sticker... hmm.

That is a nice machine and I bet with that turning radius you can cut your name in the front yard. 15mph is great if you are in a hurry and need to get it done quick but the main idea of doing a lawn is so that have time to smoke your cigars. Next picture you need to send is one of you on that sucker with a smokin Churchill !! Have fun!
