Ok I just listen to the new single for the first time.
I didn't think it was to bad, except for the minute long intro that isn't even music! But that is the kind of thing you get with A. Rose. Like I said I'm a sucker and will probaly get it when it comes out. |

Maturing Puffer Fish

Heard it on Sirius a couple of days ago - I wasn't expecting anything, so I wasn't disappointed. Chinese Democracy should have never been released as Gn'R, IMO; Axl just should have went solo and maybe he would have done better. It's an OK tune, but it's not Gn'R. Guns N' Roses, to me, was always about Axl and Slash. If you listen to all their classic stuff, it's almost like a duet between Axl's vocals and Slash's guitar. Chinese Democracy's guitars seem weak and thin - which makes the song fall flat.
