Jitzy,
I spoke to the partner in the new shop. As everyone knows I am a small percentage partner (basically brought on to handle ordering, and cigar knowledge). I only took a small % because I am still holding out to be a rep. I just spoke about putting in more hours for a bigger percentage and the offer is on the table for me to accept. So I can do it and it will keep my ahead afloat. However the money to be made in a local B&M with taxes is not really enough to support someone. when i first found out the news earlier today I went into panic mode. But I know I have some options right now albeit it none of them are great but will keep me from sinking. Meanwhile NY State still has not issued the licenses... I knew this was coming, just didn't really expect it to happen. all the well wishers on this board as really boosted my morale and I hope it all works out... |
