I Lost My Job.....
I guess I am now a victim of the economy...

My primary client has decided to shut down operations and has released me from contract. She was responsible for 95% of my income. The thing that sucks the most is as a self employed individual I can't collect unemployment...

So right now I am kind of up sh!ts creek...

Freaky man! We were there exactly 1 year ago this Friday. Boy do I know what you're going through right now. The plus side for us, is we had a cleaning company already established and set up part time to pay off the credit card bills. But still, try living on less than $700 month with a mortgage and kids! SCARY! We were able to swing into full time gear and build the clientele. Now 1 year later, we're doing way better than we were before, and working less hours.
Good luck! It'll work out, but boy do I know how you're feeling right now.

I work as a security consultant, and private investigator. Unfortunately at this time, since companies make no money with security it is one of the first things they cut to save money....

I also have a history in retail management, sales, and computers. (general repair, tech support, and upgrades).

My prayers are with you. I'm self employeed as well. I hang by a thread regularly. When things get really tough I say a prayer asking God take it from my hands and put it in his. He'll get you through this. God Bless you and your family.
