I also have kept pretty quiet about what was going on here, but I think some good questions have been asked and they deserve answers. Are you upset with the core membership here going elsewhere? And if yes, what are you going to do to rectify the situation?

I will answer this question because its a fair one. However if this turns into another bash thread it will be closed as well. So long as we can keep this thread constructive without the insults, name calling, and derogatory statements I am happy to discuss this and leave the thread open. Of course Id like everyone to be happy and stay. And I do not want people to leave. That being said I do believe that you cannot please everyone. Threads which insult/threaten me, mods, other members, CL, cursing, screaming - this stuff just isnt going to be tolerated. Those threads will be closed and those participating in such abuse will be banned. I understand this may not be a popular resolution and that we may lose members because of it - but I do believe at the end of the day those that want to discuss CIGARS will discuss CIGARS and will avoid drama - and those that want to discuss drama..well..love drama. I am doing the best I can given the circumstances. And I hope to continue to work hard to keep the members here who want to discuss cigars and who dont want to deal with the drama.

The deal is that the "drama lovers" as you call them were the most active members here and were the ones who stopped the drama before. They don't love drama, they are pissed there home is being destroyed, seemingly without any remorse from You and Daniel.

What do you consider constructive, only posts that say how great this place is? These are true feelings oh how people feel, the people who use the site. This is the most constructive feedback a business person can get...Honest feedback.

Constructive as in - moves us toward a solution and offers advice and viable suggestions. Things like I am a bad person or Daniel is a bad person or CL is done for etc - NOT constructive.

If you want constructive, I think you should unban everyone you banned, be upfront about what you plan on doing with this and the other boards, admit it was tacky to try and sell tee shirts for fourty dollars while people are telling you that they are upset because their online community has become a capitalist venture. Those are just a few constructive comments I can come up with more.
