Yes it is......but, I feel you need to know whats going on with that person first before you go and ban someone....is there not a Rolodex? ...Find out, they may have a legit excuse.

Not entirely true. When I was contacted I replied right away. My father passed away 15 days ago. He had been hospitalized since New Years eve. I had been arranging his memorial, finances etc. I will admit I completely fogot about this and when I was contacted I responded right away. Derek's 5er has been in route since thursday. If any one of you know me I would be the LAST BOTL to skip a payment.
As for being "on-line" over at CL when the thread was started, I have always been connected online over there. I was never able to Log-off there. If there is doubt, ask TxTuff,Stogie, CeeDee and a few other as I contacted a Long while ago about the "Logging-Off" matter.

Things happen. Its life. There are people who go through some things that are not able to log on all the time. There is work, family, school, etc. Even I went to Mexico City over a week for business and did not have time to log on very much. I think for future things like this we should consider the organizer getting everyone's contacts prior to accepting. It would be so much as an in your face if something happened but call or email to ask are you okay? Is something wrong? Is there anything I can do to help. From the time I have been at CL SmokinJ has always been a strong BOTL. He always was more than generous in his passes, bombs, pif's etc.

Maybe there should be some kind of time frame before banning? Say 30 days?

Point being that personal accountability and integrity seem to be less prevalent these days, and I'd hate to see this forum go the way of others I have been a member of.

thats pretty messed up whoever hit you should do the right thing and give it back, the biggest problem is this was a "live" issue and some guys might feel others posting in here other than those members might be wrong, but you and anyone else has every right to respond in this thread. I actually do agree with you and banning would be harsh especially if the person has an excuse for being late, a perfect example is smokinj, with everything with his dad happening I would cut him some slack because "life happens" but if you are one of the ones that didn't send your end or contact Derick please do so.

after looking at this more I have to say posting any kind of list or bad trader feedback right now would be in poor taste since all the cigarlive guys lost all there trader feedback and giving someone a negitive when they just had all there positive taken away wouldn't give anyone looking at them the first time a true feeling for who they are.
