The Ambien made me do it! - Kennedy

Ambien is crazy shit alright. It specifically says on the bottle NOT to take with alcoholic beverages (could make you stop breathing in your sleep, seriously, ask a doctor... its true for any sleep medicine though), and it specifically says not to drive while taking it.

Damn, where is that curse of the Kennedys when you really need it. (like with this guy) all the other less sleasy kennedys got killed young... how did Ted get so lucky?

Man the news just makes me sick some days. Now some are saying that the Police are going to hard on Kennedy. Saying that if he was not such a public figure, they would not be so hard on him.


WTF If he was just a regular Joe on the street he would have went to jail that night.

And the Police Union is a little upset with how this was all handled as well. Said that management officials showed up and told the street level LEO's to go home. There is also a police report stating that the first offficers there thought he was drunk. So well this is going to get messy.

Whether it be Ambien or Booze; there are two things that need to happen to Patrick Kennedy. One has already happened which is rehab and the second is that he needs to resign from his position and allow his constituents to have a real representative who can do the job without interference. I will say if charges are not pressed against this man for this reckless and unethical behavior ("I'm on my way to a vote") then there should be a serious public outcry for his ouster from the House of Representatives.
