Pictures of my Cigar Box guitars (56k may take time)

I posted in my "Hey, I'm a newbie" thread about me making Cigar Box Guitars and was asked to show pictures of Guitars I've made. Well here they are.

First Guitar was a Boat paddle. I wondered why I haven't seen any of these ever made. So I made one. I'll soon put a pickup in it like a guitar and have an electric boat paddletar.

"If you live in the Delta,
There are two things you can do.
You can go fishin',
Or you can play the blues.

The fish weren't bitin' today.
Don't need this boat no more.
I'll make a guitar with this paddle,
And do my fishin' from the shore."

First Cigar Box Guitar. Electric Don Tomas with burned frets.

This one was for my local Pipe and Tobacco shop on University in Little Rock. They have it on top of the shelf when you first walk in.

This one was made for a friend in Va. His name is Paul May but his stage name is Neanderpaul. He's a live looper and is a really nice guy.

He made this video and song with this guitar. It was his first slide guitar.
YouTube - I gots to know - neanderpaul blues cigar box guitar (this is not a rick roll)

This one was made as a Christmas present for a friend.

Here are my Cookie tin Banjo and Bass Ukulele projects beside a Concert Ukulele for size reference.

Here are the boxes I currently have that may someday be a guitar.

Thats all I got for now. Always interested on scoring new boxes for cheap. Let me know what you think about them.

Those are great. Especially the banjo. I'd love to see/hear it when it's done. Nice work my friend.

Cool guitars. The Pipe and Tobacco Shop in Little Rock is my home B&M too. I usually just pop in and out quickly so I haven't noticed the guitar on the shelf. I will have to stop by and check it out. Welcome to the puffer ocean or whatever we call it now.

I usually charge anywhere from $100 up depending on what I've done to it. The Neanderpaul would be around $150. I like to do different things so no guitar is like another one.

You go to some of the more known builders and it starts getting into the $1000's. Reddogguitars.com is a really good example of a $800+ CBG but they are worth every penny with the amount of detail John puts into them.

Great guitars. But how do they really sound? The video is funny but your friends gives it away when the info says he really isn't playing, plus you can see he isn't playing when he is lip singing. Either way they look great.

He's a live looper. There is a Boss RC-20 pedal on the ground you can't see. He'll press the pedal, play a riff, then press the pedal again to catch it and loop it. Check out some of his other videos to see how this works, he'll do it with a few different instruments.

I can't find where it says he's not playing but the bit about it being a fictional song is because he's married.
