Im gonna but the computer stays on!!! I wonder if they realize that the ballast in most floresent lights take more power to start back up than they do to operate. The big building i work at part time (convention center) cost damn near $100 everytime the switches are flipped on!!

I think its a good idea to raise awareness for conservation of resources, but I don't really see how using less electricity will make a big difference. Not like our electricity runs on a gasoline powered generator or anything. Last time I checked my towns power plant uses nuclear technology which doesn't output much pollution. If I remember right uranium uses 1,000x less resources than a coal powered plant, and several thousand times less than a fossil fuel plant. I think the whole "go green" thing is just down right retarded. Not for what it stands for, but that the people doing it are treating it like its the new hot trend. Was hilarious seeing all the trash and crap left behind at those "green" concerts like farm aid and whatever those other ones were with trash pop music. Plus the pics of the cars were all like huge ass SUV's and hummers. Say one thing and do another.

I do my part daily though, recycle, don't pollute, shut of lights when not in use.

Good to see them at least trying something to raise awareness for global conservation though.

As for me I didn't have a choice. Lights were off anyways cause I was out back smoking a Arturo Fuentes Gran Reserva.
