Hey, MAYBE SCHIP was just a big joke! Maybe Obama loves this day. Maybe he's just a big kidder after all. I seriously doubt that, although he certainly likes to play the fool!!

This all started with one lawyer and a class action suit against the cigarette industry.Billions were gotten from those companies which woke the government up to an untapped cash cow and since then they have been tapping it harder than I would Jennifer Aniston in the name of trying to get back what they lost due to health risks.

My dad smoked from the time he was 17 until he died at age 82....of a stroke. I'm 47 and never had a health issue and I pay $145 every week for health insurance and have for years and I smoke cigars,cigarettes,and pipes. But I recently went to make your own in cigs trying to avoid the tax and now SCHIP is raiseing the price of cigarette tobacco a whopping $24.00 a pound! So a pound I paid $10 for yesterday will now cost me $34.00 today!

So,I went to to the doctor and got Chantix,i've had it and am going to quit pipes and cigarettes. This came about when I found myself on line looking at tobacco seeds....SEEDS! I was wondering if I could grow my own and cure it in the garage after reading an article about a guy in Virginia who grew some Cuban seed tobacco and had his own cigars made in Tampa out of it which he labeled Virginia Blues and I thought,what the hell am I thinking? Do I not have any pride at all left? Poop on the man...i'm not supporting all of his hobbies anymore.

So,I maxed a couple of cards,bought the hell out of the best cigars I could find and i'm going to give this Chantix a try and quit cigs and pipes then when that's done I will go back and occasionally enjoy a good cigar since they were the least effected.No doubt because of the fuss the who's who in Washington and New York etc would cause if they were to raise the price on cigars like they did on cigs.
