This is a discussion on mybrute.com hit by trojan/virus? within the General Discussion forums, part of the Everything But Cigars category; I was having some trouble getting into mybrute.com tonight and well symantec kept popping up with downloader.swif.c in temp internet ...

mybrute.com hit by trojan/virus?
I was having some trouble getting into mybrute.com tonight and well symantec kept popping up with downloader.swif.c in temp internet files everytime i tried to load the site... I tried it on another PC and the same thing happened.. I am running the latest version of flash... Not sure what is going on yet but I am not the only one (according to google search) wanted to post this just in case...
"Apparently Mybrute.com has been struck by nastynasty virus things. Going there leads to intrusion attempts by "Downloader.Swif.C" that Norton keeps blocking. A quick Google search solidifies it - the site has been compromised."  |
