My crappy sunday

So my sunday sucked! It went bad 8 laps into the race when that punk Kenseth wrecked Gordon. It got better when i was watching the Wrestler...actually a good movie. I paused the movie to go to the basement bar and smoke a cigar when I heard the nastiest sound ever...the windows shook and everything....the 80 year old maple tree in my yard came down!!! It missed the house by inches and didnt hit any cars. I just had some guys out giving me bids to remove it (i knew it was bad) a few days ago. So some neighbors helped me cut up the half that fell and got it off the street. So now I really have to have it cut down.....there goes $1200!! Damn. Think of the sticks that would buy!!!!! Anyhow the 2 hrs i was gonna use smoking I spent chopping up a damn rotten tree. Owning a home sucks. Too many responsibilities. I just patched a bunch of dead spots in the terrace where the damn thing fell yesterday. Crap. The squirrels are pissed! Musta been 3 dozen livin in the half of the tree. The other half has another 3 dozen and a hive of bees in a hole. I think theres a possum up there too. Luckily the guy 2 houses down...dont know his name cause im a bad neighbor....wants the wood to burn so hes gonna come up tomorrow and chunk it up. Yeaaaaaa work tomorrow.

Does not sound good at all. I caught the end of the race, it seemed like everyone was pissed off because of all the wrecks. Sucks it took away your smoke time.

Ill live....im smoking right now...got the laptop in the bar. Gotta love wireless signals!!! Works even in the basement. Yeah Nascar is gonna kill a driver if they keep them cars bunched up like that. Lose the restricter plates already. Did you see the fence give way??? WOW....the spectators got showered with sheetmetal. Guess there was injuries too.

The tree removing bids need to be reduced since 1/2 the tree is done already.

That should save you some money!

I guess that makes me a "the tree is half empty" kind of a guy!

Whenever you have a bad day, just be thankful it isn't worse. Seems to put things in perspective. The tree could have hit the house or the cars, or someone could have been hurt. NASCAR will have more races. There is still time to smoke. You're still alive and kicking. Positive thinking brother, postive thinking.

When stuff like that happens, I always tell myself "well, nobody got killed-it could have been worse". Ah, the joys of owning a home!
