Hopefully Turning the corner

I have finally found a job that can be a career.

I took a leap and left a job I was secure in and took somehting I had no experiance in.


6 months later I am getting a raise and scored a 3.4 out of 4 on my eval.

Only complant was lack of education on process, but we are waiting for a class to open up close to the plant so I dont miss alot of work.

My wife has began taking care of her grandfather who is senile and really close to the end and the family is talking about setting it up so we can live out on the farm there and take care of the farm and him. I have always wanted a place out in the country where I can fish and watch the sun set off the back porch ( farm is 30 acres with a spring feed pond)

Kids are doing better and my marriage couldnt be better. I only wish more people could see the light at the end of the tunnel and keep heading in the right direction.


A yr ago I was in a dead in job, hated my life and was almost ready for divorce and let the house go...now I have a direction!


Tonight I am gonna sit outside and enjoy a smoke..what it will be will not matter..its the calm I feel thats really nice!





To all in the same spot I was keep your head up it will get better...maybe not as fast as mine did but it will!

Good to hear your doin well. I know its tuff to be positive when you have 2 terrible football teams!! LOL Im joking. I have no room to talk. The huskers have been slackin for a few years. I hear ya on the farm...my folks have 160 acres up on the Missouri River and I used to live up there every free day I had but since moving here and working the 2 jobs I work at I just dont have time. Id love to live there but its like 60 miles away and ive grown fond of cable, internet, fastfood and listening to my neighbors complain!!!

Wow man, good for you. Just goes to show you what a bit of perseverance and positive mental attitude will get you. Good for you brother, damn good for you, sounds like you are most deserving of good things.
