This country is going to hell

Our American Flag is a sacred object. People have fought and died over it and I thank them in my prayers every day. The Flag stands for everything the USA is and to dishonor it is to dishonor the people it represents. If somone is offended by the flag then they are offended by all the patriots it represents from Washington, Jefferson, and the rest of the founders to our modern day heros in the armed forces, not to mention the everyday citizen who is proud of thier country and contributes to our society. If we offend them that much they can get the hell out of here and get car bombed in some other back-a$$wards country. This is the kind of thing that really ticks me off, its a direct insult.

The statement went on to explain: “The disagreement was over the size of the flag and not what it symbolized. We have invited the employee to put the flag back up.”

And it will go back up and stay up, McLucas said.

If they were trying to do the right thing they would not have put the American flag on the ground. The hospital was caught with its pants down and trying to cover for what they did.

what really steams me is we bring people into this country that dont care about this country.

not only let them in but pay for them to go to school to be a doctor or lawyer or whatever.

i say let in the ones that want to be proud americans, and to prove it you serve an amount of time in the military.
then you are an american and have earned a G.I. college loan to better yourself.

On the flag subject.....it laying on the ground to be exact...I work in a Veterans home....I am a disabled vet....one day a coworker was hanging a new flag (and these are large) and was allowing it to touch the ground so I went over and scooped it up. He said "dude its just cloth" WRONG FING ANSWER!! The American Flag is to be treated as a living breathing thing. It does not touch the ground. You do not wear it on your back. Dont fly it until it is just a single thread left. You do not wad it up and toss it in the trash. You do not paint one on a fire hydrant so dogs can piss on it. It is amazing what little the american people know about their own flag. There is actually a whole list of laws purtaining to THE flag. Do a Google on it.

There is a reason the military doesnt allow people not born in the united states serve.....and its a damn good one.

After re-reading my post I can see where it can be misunderstood. It was never my intention to imply that flag defenders (of which I am one) are "thin skinned". My intention was to call out whining people and people complaining about the flag being displayed are whiners. Not only are they unpatriotic but they are a bunch of whiners & I am sick to death of whiners! Something I always say to my associates is that if you think you have it so bad try living somewhere else and then let me know how you feel! We can get so comfortable that we sometimes forget how blessed we are compared to the rest of the world!

I'm going on 20 years now serving my county. I've flown my flag every day. I've bled for it. I've seen it covering my friends when they came home. I have handed it to too many widows on behalf of our nation.

The right to protest is there I'll respect that - But the company demanding to remove it!! WTF-Over

I'll personally pay for the individual that complained for a ticket out of MY country (hello GITMO I have one to check-in)
