What are you doing on the 4th?

My daughter and her family will be visiting and the 4 of them, my Wife, and myself are headed over to my brother and his family's house for the day. He lives about 40 minutes away, which makes a nice little drive. Joining us will be 2 other of my brothers and their family's, plus the in-law's and family's. Looking at about 60 total at this point.

We'll be cooking and eating all day, I'll pass out a few cigars and be smoking a pipe or 2, watching the kids play and fish in the pond, and generally relaxing.

I might not be in town, but I'm damn sure smoking the CAO America I've been saving. I hope it's a good one.

I usually go to a big BBQ at my parents house. It ends up being an all night fiesta. It is real cool, where they live is real close to where the town fireworks are displayed so we are real close and it is awesome to see the fireworks that close.

Other than that it is an all day affair of playing bags, eating great food, socializing with friends, drinking mass amounts of beer, and finally smoking some great cigars.

This year I have CAO America to fire up in the morning and a 2005 liberty for the afternoon. I am sure there will be many others in there as well.

Probably grilling some burgers and hot dogs and just spending time with the family. The Fourth of July has come to have a mixed meaning for me. A very good friend of mine in England passed away on the Fourth last year. The stogie will be lit in his honor. Rest in peace, Alan.

I usually go lo a local park with my wifes side of the family. They have music all day, things for the kids to do, and fireworks at night. Ill be bringing my 14" portable charoal grill with us this time, so ill be pretty much cooking, drinking, and smoking all day long! Cant wait!

I'll be fishing in the backyard in the morning (yes there is a lake there), then BBQ'ing, smoking anything I can get my hands on and having a few belts. I have some Porterhouses and Filets in the freezer waiting to be prepped.

I live in a small East Texas town. We'll go to the 4th of July parade, cook out for lunch, and go to the park for the city fireworks show (they claim it's coreographed with music on the local radio station, but that only means the music is playing.)

I'm traveling to Florida for my nephew's wedding. He is in the Navy Seal program and they are giving him two days to get married. After that, he has to go back to camp.

I'll be enjoying smokes and fireworks at Jupiter Beach after that.
