A true hero was laid to rest yesterday

I was just watching the movie Jarhead last night. Such a sad movie. Really shows you how much physical and emotional distress the troops go through. The things they have done and seen at war have driven them to the edge, and its a burden they carry for the rest of their lives. And they do it for our freedom, protection and the freedom of people around the world.

On another note, the Jackson family just disgusts me beyond words. It is the most disgusting thing I've seen in a long long time. The poor guy was dying for years, a reported even said in February that if actions aren't taken immediately, Jackson's will be done within 6 months. Michael Jackson died 6 months and 1 week after that report. Instead of getting immediate medical attention for his health issues and drug abuse, his family and friends kept pushing him to do a 50 show tour to make more money. They just kept throwing drugs at the problem and pushing him until he died. Then when hes dead, what do they do? Put on a sad face and try to make some money! Michael Jackson's brother was trying to promote his new Record Label while giving a press conference about his brothers death, he wouldn't stop promoting it. People got upset with him about this and he held another press conference to clarify what he was saying in the previous one, and then continued to promote his new Record Label. His father Joe Jackson is pushing his 3 kids now to try and get them to make a record. This is one of the most disgusting part of the whole Jackson freak show. We know how he ruined Michael's life by pushing him when he was just a boy to become a singing star, while his father and brothers all were getting with women and doing other things that children shouldn't be around. Now he wants to make money off of Michael's children by exploiting them at a vulnerable and confusing time in their life. Its just pathetic. And Latoya Jackson is selling out stories to various tabloids for hundreds of thousands of dollars saying she thinks someone has murdered her brother.

The whole thing just disgusts me. From the moment it was announced he had died the whole thing has become one big freak show of attention whores and scumbags. Even the whole funeral was way over the top. Enough is enough. Let the guy rest in peace.
