Halo 3 Zune - super cheap

I am picking up a 30gb Halo 3 Zune from a friend of mine for about $20.

Just wanted to know what I could expect, and if any one out there had/used one. I am going to have to buy a new external HDD to hold my music, because I will have to run it off my laptop. I am looking into ways to rip video and movies for it right now.
