I'm back!!!

After being gone for almost a year, I'm back to the jungle! I know it looked like I dropped off the face of the earth and I just wanted to let everyone know what happened.

I had a pretty bad accident last year and the recovery was long and hard. While live pretty much started to return to normal a few months ago, I had so much of my life to catch up on, I didn't have much time for my cigars or this forum.

The other night, I went to the old humidor to check things out. I figured I lost everything since I haven't even looked at the thing in over a year let alone check on things.

To my surprise, the humidity was perfect, the cigars were clean, and all looked perfect. I questioned my wife knowing that she doesn't like them and figuring she never checked, she told me that my 10 year son has been taking car of them. While in the hospital, my son told her that he was going to keep a look at my humidor so that when I got better I would be able to ejnoy a good cigar!

I was shocked! I know my son loves to sit on the deck with me when I enjoy a good smoke and says that he wants his own humidor (properly stocked, of course) on his 18th birthday but I didn't know he paid that much attention.

I went out on the deck and lit up a nice Ashton VSG and sat down when my son came out and asked me how it was. It was all I could do not to start to cry. Pretty stupid, huh? But it wasn't about the cigar, it was about my son and that he was looking out for me and thinking about everthing I could have missed if things had gone the wrong way! Way too intense for a weekday night!

So, anyway, I'm back so I hope you are all prepared for my daily corny jokes! I don't remember for sure, but I was probably supposed to be involved in some passes or bombs that I missed, so I apologize if I missed anyone who I owed something to. I look forward to getting back into this board.

Now, time to check out the new passes!!!

Thanks guys! I know I have a great family. Besides my son, I have 12 and 14 year old daughters that were a huge help in the recovery. I'm pretty lucky!
