Baby Boy - Name Spelling - Poll
Ok,
My little sister is due in November. They have a name picked out if it's a boy, but can't decide which way to spell it. Since there are so many manly men on this forum, figured I'd just ask you guys. Which spelling is better, more manly, easier for idiots on the phone to guess spelling...etc. (No letters capitalized, accept first.) 1. Maclain 2. Maclane I told her Maclane (because it's the closer spelling version to the butt kickin Die Hard man.) |

The "i" in the other one for some odd reason makes it look more feminine

Sadly, there is no shortage of idiots, on the phone or otherwise and no matter how they spell it people will butcher it.....
But I like it alot. It is a nice manly name.  Maclane Hahahahaaahahaahaaaa!

50/50 this wasnt helpful, was it? I wouldn't worry about it, pick whichever looks best. In the end as long as the name isnt Gaylord, it wont make that big of a difference. I'm sure they'll make a good choice!
