Best unique way to open Beer Bottles

more recently in college Iv used the edge of a desk, and the back of my folder pocket knife blade. I can also do it with a single sheet of paper but that's if hell has frozen over and i don't have my knife.

I'm interested in this sheet of paper opening method...care to explain?

Used the edge of any hard flat surface a lot.

I've also used the finger holes in my Xikar MTX cigarcutter/multitool thing. The actual bottle opener tool on it is too flimsy IMO.

sure thing, its actually pretty simple. and much like using the back of a knife or a magazine, you take a sheet of paper and fold it in half until your left with a rectangular strip, or you could fold it other ways , but basically your looking to pack the majority of the paper material into a single edge with a little left over to use as leverage. and the simplest way to explain that is to fold the paper in half until it wont fold anymore and your left with a roughly 2.5 inch by 0.5 inch rectangle. then you stick the rounded stiff edge under the cap and holding the neck of the bottle while at the same time with the hand that is holding the bottle try to push up on the paper under the cap you use the leverage from the paper to pry off the cap. Ive tried it a couple ways but this way seems to work best for me.

I don't drink that form of alcohol and in truth never plan to as I know exactly what's in it, however here is a video that definitely will teach you SOMETHING about opening them.
