N1H1 Virus Yikes!
My wife has the swine flu! Yikes. Just found out 5 minutes ago. Said she is going to get worse for the next two days before she starts to get any better.

I'm sorry to hear that. Supposedly the symptoms are not much worse than the regular flu for adults.

I hope she starts feeling better soon.

thanks, and I just realized that I put it backwards. H1N1. She says she feels fine. She is a teacher, and three of her students are out with it. She ran a little fever, and went strait to the doctor. She has no other symptoms to this point. She's being naughty and not staying in the bed. Looks like I'll be taking next week off from work due to exposure. Ouch.
The Thermaflu, or whatever perscription they gave her has made her quite yacky. Hopefully she will be able to eat some of the home made soup I've prepared for her later.

IMHO, teachers who get sick should be covered by Workers' Comp. Kids come up to teachers all the time and whisper things in the teachers ear/face like, "I've go strep throat" and "I've got a cold" hoping that no one else will know. In MANY cases, sickness in the case of teachers IS DEFINITELY work related.

Cigar content: Is there any proof whether cigar smoke will kill the H1N1 virus?

Yeppers! Not a whole lot of garlic, just a few cloves. And home grown veggies: okra, squash, corn, tomatoes. And chicken stock! Made enough for both of us to last a few days. Have one more day left of the soup. Then it's some fish dinners, then whatever she wants. Today has been her worst day, but we were expecting that.
