I live there part time Koby and trust me, it's very strange in California. Living part time in Atlanta gives me that "old time" what it used to be like when people were aware of what was right and wrong and would keep certain things where they belonged. Being a homosexual is something people choose for themselves as to what kind of life they want to live. I don't believe in it because of my beliefs and whatever a person does in their own homes is fine and dandy as long as they don't bring it into my playground and try to force it down my throat. How many "straight" parades have you gone to? How many "white" parades have you seen where the whole day is set aside to demonstrate about "White Pride",,,you won't see it because every other diverse group will have a shyte fit but it's ok to have "Black, Brown, Red, Yellow Day" and groups in the work place. It's total bullshyte because it should just be like the 4th of July,,,America Day without all of the crap about ethnicity. I am proud of my heritage where my family came from in Portugal but you won't find me flying the flag or waving it in peoples faces so I get some kind of recognition for it. I am an American and if people have to distinguish themselves by color they have missed the whole point of who they are.

This, however, is a very silly idea. There are far more important things to be teaching kids at school. Incorporate gay history in the history class curriculum, but don't make a full day dedicated to it. And kids in kindergarten are too young to really understand what any of this really is.

Teaching kids about this is as silly as black history month... before you jump to any conclusions on that statement, watch this video why I think it's silly.
