Cool Cabinet size Humidor.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a nice cabinet size humidor for real cheap prices?? I mean cheap, cheap prices.
I need a cabinet size humidor for some of my cigars but I really don't have a lot of money to spend to buy it from most of the stores on the internet.

I have seen some that are not that bad on pricing for them but I am someone that can't go out and spend a lot of money for one.

I am looking for the cheapest place to buy one, so if anyone can give me a web site to cheap humidors I would appreciate it greatly.

My wife is tired of seeing our coolers full of cigars and kept in our bed room.

The Trivoli from Tampa Humidor is my recommendation. Less than $350.

http://www.cheaphumidors.com

Cigars, Humidors, and Cigar Humidor Accessories at Tampa Humidor

are the 2 that come to mind. Of course "expensive" is a very relative term.

I have the "Lauderdale" from Cheap Humidors, it was about $320 I think.

I was going to get this one from Tampa Humidor.

Cigar Humidor, Glass Top Cigar Humidor at TampaHumidor
$599.00

Then liked this one better because well a little better suited for me but little more money. this is the one I am getting.
$649.00

Here is an imperfect for $250.00 smaller but still a nice size.

You could always build one. I built a desk for my office and instead of a file cabinet I built a humidor. Just an idea...

I have been thinking of building one but then I looked at the price of Spanish cedar and thought that it may be to much money to build one the size I want and need.

If I could find Spanish Cedar at a reasonable price then I would rather build one the way I want it to look.

Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

Tampa Humidor has great prices on these big ones. Sign up for their emails and they sell these at 10% off every once in a while. They also do a free shipping sale on everything. A good way to save some money if you can wait for the deal to come along.

Good luck!

Cool Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

I have been looking at that one and another one from Tampa Humidor, the Trivoli , both are around the same price and size and I may have to get one or the other if I can't find any other place to get them cheaper.
It appears that those two stores are the cheapest on the web, I was hoping that there may be another store that carries them even cheaper than those two do, it may be wishful thinking though.
Like I said I don't have a lot of money to be spending so I may be saving for a while if I can't find any other store that has something around their size but less money for them.

Thanks for all the help.

Cool Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

To be honest with you I already have a Trivoli, I was hoping that I could find a store even cheaper than Tampa Humidors though, but if I can't find a store cheaper then I may go back to them and get another Trivoli or there is another store Cheap Humidors that has one I liked also that is around the same price as that one, the Lauderdale, it is not a bad looking piece but I was wanting to get something even less than that if I can.
Those two stores may be the lowest for prices of humidors that size. I loke another one that is a bit bigget for about twice as much but that is way out of my price range.

Thakns for your help,
Regards,

Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

The shipping rates quoted on the website are not accurate, today I tried to buy the Pienza and the website quoted $75 I called to be sure and to upgrade a few things and she said the website is just and estimate. To Seattle the actual shipping would be $194.00 a third the cost of the unit.

Back to looking, maybe I can find a cabinet closer to home. I really don't want to build another one right now!

yes, I would love to hear about this, but not just you get what you pay for.
I have some really inexpensive humis that work great. Some more costly that dont work as great.

I have been searching for a new larger humidors, and I see some priced at 300 dollars and some priced at 2500 dollars. What are we paying for? Reputation, quality, nothing,? I would like a low down.

I mean I see humidors selling on line for 100 bucks, that I see at b and ms for 500 dollars. I am not kidding you.

Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

Do you have a piece of furniture already that you can convert? I am in nearly the same position as you and a good friend is helping me out. He is an empty nester that is downsizing his home and has a custom built oak armoire. With some sealing and spanish cedar lining, I will have a nice humidor to store my cigar collection in. Just a thought.

Re: Cabinet size Humidor.

I was looking on line on doing a search for quality humidors, and I found an interesting site. The sell humidors and make custome ones, but one item caught my eye.

They will build you a custom drawer humidor to take the place of a drawer in a nightstand, an armoir, a kitchen cabinet, or whatever.

I have a beautiful cabinet that is a dresser on the bottom with an armoir on top that I had built for me maybee 20 years ago. The dresser part has various sized drawers, some I really dont have anything interesting in it. In fact my wife keeps soda pop cans in theri for storage for when some of the kids and grandkids come over.

Thinking about taking a measure and seeing how much they charge. You kind of pull the drawer out it looks like, and then you open the clear top. Interesting.

Hi Jerry, Thanks for your reply, you know that sounds like a great idea to do, make something I already own into a humidor but that takes me back to finding the spanish cedar for a reasonable price, I have only found it in two stores in my area and both want a lot for it, so I could probably buy one of the humidors I have been looking at at Tampa Humidor and Cheap Humidors, both of them are fairly reasonbly priced, I just don't have a lot of money to play with right now, even if I could buy one of them I still have to come up with the shipping cost and that isn't going to be cheap either.
That is why I am trying to find a store that has prices lower than the two stores I have already mentioned, if someone out there knows of a store that has lower prices for something the same size as those two stores carry then I would like to hear about them.
If there are not any other stores out there then I will have to wait for one of those two to have a great sale on the humidors I have been looking at and buy one of them.
I want to thank everyone who has put in their two cents on this request and I hope to hear from someone that knows of a cheaper store than what has been mentioned already.

Keep the clouds full of white smoke and may we all enjoy the cigar of our dreams.
