My writings, please excuse

I enjoy writing, and some of you enjoy reading them. I just wanted to say, I do understand my writings are sometimes hard to read, because of misspelling and using homophones(too, to ,two) incorrectly and transposing letters.

There is a reason for this medically and I do not want people to think me irresponsible or a non user of the english language.

Just to sum it up, over the years I have had quite a bit of surguries to handle injuries I have received during the years. I do not do good under anestesia. I try to have most of them done while I am awake, but mostly they always wind up putting me down.

Everytime I have surgury it seems I lose a bit of my cognitive values when it comes to spelling, typing, word usage. It wasnt always this way, plus my hands are slightly stiff, and I have so much to do, I am always rushing.

If there was (and I dont see it) a spell and grammer checker here I would use it, and if I had the time, I should use word, and correct it there and then paste it in the forum, which I should do more, but dont take the time.. Maybee I should post less, but make it more readable.

I look at my posts sometimes, and say "did I write that" Its a bit embarrassing.

Just wanted to explain, and please no sympathy. Its just the way it is, and please dont think me stupid.
I can do complicated math in my head, but when I do a check deposit, I transpose numbers. Its ridiculous sometimes.

Have a good day everyday. Yankees- Laa game 4 today.

With much respect Jerry

Re: My writings, please excuse

WE don't worry about it Jerry so neither should you as we enjoy reading your posts. It's lost art form of being able to tell stories and that takes me back to the days when my grandfather would tell me stories of things that I would never have had the chance to know about unless he told them to me,,,much like you are able to do. That is what generations used to do with each other is to tell the stories of long ago and keep passing them down. Like I said, it's a lost art and now we have to rely on books to tell us stories that may or may not be accurate.

Re: My writings, please excuse

Well Jerry, you have an excuse. I don't. I just suck at typing and at the end of the day who cares!
There are stories that may be lost over time, times are changing and so are those stories.

I tell some of my experiences and usually get blank stares because people can't relate to what happened so many years ago.

Keep 'em coming Jerry. Like Cigary said... Storytelling is a lost art, and anytime someone with more worldly experience than me has something to say, I listen. You never know what you'll pick up!

Thanks for the great tales Jerry!

All your posts look and read great to me Jerry. Never noticed anything wrong at all. Great storytelling always takes center stage. Who can tell an occasional wrong spelling when your stories gives us great pictures to think about.
