I Knew It Was Going to be Short but !!!!!
 My wife recently gave birth to my awesome son, Easton Lane Harley Josker (family names) and I decided to take 3 weeks off to stay home with him and her to help her as she had a c-section... Before I left I set up my time card and I was only supposed to be a week short on my paycheck... Well...come to find out, our FMLA company went back in and changed my hours to 7.5 for this last 2 week period because they said even though the system let me input sick time, it should not have because I was off when my hours accrued....BS!! I was given the impression I had time off to be paid for so I took it and now I got paid a total of $120 to last me 2 weeks. I think I could work with that because my wife is getting 2/3 of her check but I just looked at my check stub and all of the money I was going to get was taken for taxes, medical and car insurance (it comes out of my paycheck bc my company has a group policy). Looks like I am taking out a loan at 15% interest to cover bills because my wife is stressed as it is and now I wish I had not stayed home (but time with your newborn is priceless). Sorry for the rant...I am just mad because I was given the impression I had the time and then a 3rd party contractor who deals with FMLA changed it. I know we will be fine, it will work out alright. My paycheck was supposed to give me some leeway so I could at least make a tiny cigar purchase lol. I am going through withdrawals because I haven't purchased a cigar in a month. At least I have good family, friends (this board) and am able to pay the mortgage (with the loan but you gotta do what you gotta do). I know I have a lot to be thankful for and do not take it for granted...I just needed to vent and my best friend (my wife) definitely does not need the extra stress of me venting to her. That really sucks bro. It's just temporary, you'll end up alright in the end. Just keep focused on that little baby and you'll be fine. It's amazing how kids change your whole outlook on everything.

At least you have a fine, healthy young child. Being blessed as a parent is one of the greatest things in the world. Which I have yet to experience.
