Dell Isp. 3700 Owners! I Need Help!!
If anyone out there has a Dell Ispiron 3700 Laptop that came loaded with WINDOWS 98, I need help!!!
I have lost my System CD. I have the Diagnostic CD, but no WIN 98 CD. I tried to use another copy from a friends Gateway but it won't load. If any of you have the original CD that came with the computer, could I borrow it to burn a copy or would someone burn me one, please  This is my mothers computer so I really need it to help her out. I could call Dell, but don't feel like hanging on the phone for a hour... TIA

Is the OS hosed? Any Win98 CD should work. It shouldnt be Dell specific.

no, it shouldnt be a Dell specific CD, so if you like i have a 98SE disc that i would be willing to send you so you could boot up your computer. This is the full installation, not those damn recovery discs they send you with your comp. Just let me know if you need it and ill send it out pronto!

if you still need help...
Let me know if your still having problems, I have a couple 98 cds around here I can send you. You should be alright without the recovery disk. If your missing any drivers I'm sure you can get them online.
