hate to say it but the guy looked like one foot was in the grave at all times. he probably lived one hell of a life. and by what i saw from the show he probably outlived his experation date. i hope this isnt too outta line.

Not out of line but you just described half the board, I can understand Phil. I made the same mistakes and will pay the same price.

He was one of my favorite captains on that show but I always wondered how long any person could hold up with 36 hour workdays, the stress of owning a boat, 12 red bulls a day and a 3 pack a day habit.

R.I.P. Captain.

My condolences to his sons also.

that really does suck. but yea his bad habits wasnt going to let him escape death forever. but that can hold true for alot of us.
