Friday Night Contest

Well,

I've been wanting to do a contest for a while now - and finally came up with something.

This one is called - Friday Night Tunes

I'd like to do this every week if it turns out to be fun.

Here is how it works.

Every Friday Night, I will put up some of the lyrics from a song that I was listening to today. I'll post a part of verse. The contest is - What Comes Next. You give me the rest of the verse - never more than one of two lines - and you win.

The prize will be - what else - a cigar or several cigars from my Humi - what I smoked on Friday when I was listening to the tune. How many depends on how I feel at the time.

If you also know the artist and song title - there might be a bonus.

Anyone with a ring gauge over 25 can play.

That was fast! I still like the idea of a Friday night contest - so, I'll do something every Friday Night for awhile. But, it might have to be different.

Gonna be tricky in this high tech - all the info in the world available at your finger tips. But, I'll think of something.

Joed, you should do something that cant easily be googled. Maybe describe some circumstances of the song, like:
"this was so and so's breakthrough song, first performed at xxxxxxx, and he/she wrote the song about their xxxxx".
Like Eric Clapton(whom I'm named after) wrote "tears in heaven" for his son that died tragically at a young age, when he fell out a window, I believe (dont quote me on that).

That would take a little knowledge on the song/author and would be harder to google. It's also harder for you though...
