Maybe the success of Million Dollar Baby and Cinderella Man had something to do with this getting the green light?
I see Rambo IV is in the works, too.

Sly should just stick to producing / underwriting The Contender series with Sugar Ray Leonard and keep Rocky in retirement.

OH MY GOD!!!
I just got chills, and a tear in my eye. Being a Philly boy growing up, i can NOT wait to see that movie. Even if it is worse than rocky 5, I am obligated to go see it

Hey, I can't wait to see this. Yes, Rocky 5 sucked, but 1 through 4 are classics, man!! And I bet this time there won't be any songs by Frank Stallone!!!

i was very skeptical...but the previews at least look decent. Enough for me to change my mind and at least give it a chance now.
and i refuse to believe that rocky V ever happened. |

Rocky IV was the only movie I have ever been to where there was a standing ovation at the end. I guess the Cold War had something to do with that
