New York City - World Trade Center 9/11

A moment of rememberence to all those who lost their lives and the their family and friends they left behind. I remember many times taking the subway to WTC and seeing the huge lobby, resturants and structure. I remember having drinks on top of Windows of the World and how amazing the view. Every time I watch the news footage, I only wish that this time the planes missed the Twin Towers but with each replay they never did.
May the coward terrorist who took part in this rot in hell.
May the lost rest in piece in eternal happiness.

God Bless America...........God Speed
Rich, Long Island NY

Great posts. I went to two ceremonies today, one in wich my son presented and retired the american flag. As I was watching and listening I realized that forevermore everbody has been altered in many ways. Life has changed for me because my son decided to serve in the National Gaurd. My daughter quit a very good job to become a 911 operator. Many others suffered great losses and made personal sacrifice, some lost their lives protecting others. Yes everthing is different, Damn I love our country.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-02 AT 04:38 AM (CDT)]Well said, and here it is one year later, and Bin Laden is still eluding capture. It may well be time for us to start flattening the countries that protect him. Fu#k em', make em' all martyrs.

RE: New York City - World Trade Center 9/11

After the collapse of the WTC, a friend of mine and I were
talking about our trip to NY. We went onto the roof of the
south tower. We had our picture taken with Manhattan stretching
out behind us. When we checked the date it was taken it
was 9-11-1991. Ten years to the day before. My wife wants to get
the picture enlarged so we can frame it.

My mother-in-law, brother-i-l and sister-i-l and a neice and nephew
were in the south tower 1 month to the day before, 8-11-2001.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-02 AT 03:39 PM (CDT)]I agree with Flipflop, something definately ain't stirring the Kool Aid here. The Dow closes at 911.00 and the lottery is 9-1-1...come on..something is definately up.
