3 years down...1 to go.

That's right...i've officially entered my 4th year of dental school out in Boston. Away from friends, family and fiancee (all back in AZ...). I can honestly say it's been a rough 3 years.

However, time is drawing near and to celebrate our entrance into the final year, a bunch of us are heading out to dinner on Saturday night. I'm planning on bringing a cigar to sit down with after dinner somewhere...maybe on somebody's patio, maybe back at home in my yard...i'm not sure.

But i'm considering going with one of the following -- each one was gifted to me, either by Studentsmoker, catfishm, or papajohn.

- Joyo de nicaragua antano
- El Rey del Mundo (don't know the specs...it's a bit bigger than the others)
- Fonseca (cedar wrapped)
- La Aroma de Cuba
- Montecristo

** All NC's

I've yet to try any of these...so any suggestions on which to go for after a big celebration dinner?

(and thanks for letting me brag...i've struggled my way through school and feel like i'm becoming a pretty damn good dentist - but that doesn't mean school gets any easier to deal with -- sooo much BS and paperwork!)

A dentist who smokes, YES!

I'd burn the Joyo de nicaragua antano, even though the La Aroma de Cuba is one of my favorites, because it brings more punch. And since this is a special time you might as well go with the stronger one.

Good luck.

I'm at BU Dental.

And yea...i'm a dentist who smokes I reconcile it by saying it's in moderation at least for now it is, as i don't have time more than once or twice a week.

Re: 3 years down...1 to go.

Congrats, the year will be over before you know it
(actually it will probably be the longest school year of your life, but im trying to be supportive )

I took a 2 year program and am counting down the days until im finished here (22 days left) I cant wait to get my life back again. I know how rough its been doing this for 2 years so you deserve alot of credit for all your hard work

Again, congrats and good luck on your final year!

Good deal. Spent many a day in Boston. Go with the JDN antano, my personal fav of the bunch.

Re: 3 years down...1 to go.

I say go with the JdN as well.. just make SURE you eat first. I made the mistake of having one today without eating, and even though I should have known better (I smoke these alot), I still did it. Not a good move. Im still feeling it, and I smoked it about 3 hours ago.

Will do man. I love Sedona too. My mom got re-married up there -- was absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for the input...I still have some days to decide, but it sounds like everyone is leaning to the JdN
