I think that I was still lurking around site and hadn't registered. It seemed that most members were discussing the great server crash as I joined. Almost been a complete year for me on site come to think of it.

Thanks for the memories...NOT! We lost almost 40 days of activity due to a corrupted backup and a lousy host.

Actually we learn something each time the site has challenges. "The Great Crash" taught us our host sucked...we switched and things were better.

The outages a couple weeks ago taught us we were getting to big to share. Share a server that is. Went out and bought our own, and things have been much faster the last few weeks. (Except for the attempted hack) We also ave more room for some new features that will be coming over the next weeks. We have them installed on the dev forum, and are testing them now.

I'm glad pds has taken Club Stogie to a much more stable environment on the dedicated server.

Paul, I consider that to be one of our finest moments. Though I got hammered from the loss, the LLG's here showed how great they are, made the comeback painless, and ClubStogie continues to grow and change.

Thanks for all you've done, and continue to do. It's a great place to hang out and monkey around a bit.
