South Florida no longer part of Sunshine State

Hey fellow Floridians, what is going on in Florida?

Don't know about the rest of the state but in South Florida, there is no way we can continue to be a part of the Sunshine State. Our rainy season is technically over yet it is ridiculous how much rain we have gotten and it seems to continue daily.

They say the more rain we get the less chance of a hurricane so in that regard, bring it on. However, if they are wrong about that, crap, who needs all that rain? If it is true what they say, then at least we don't have to worry about our homes flying in the wind.

What sucks for me is they have yet to deliver my roof tiles and install them. They just keep backing up and backing up more with all this rain.
Oh well, I suppose it would be worse as with no rain, a blazing September sun will just run up A/C costs.

Same over here Carlos. Rain from the East, then from the West, then from the South. Hopefully they will get your tile roof on soon.

Our installer here are backed up now for month due to the recent weather. The dampness outside keeps the cigars moist don't dry out

I won't bitch to much about our unusual weather patern. Past couple years this time we were doing the hurricane shuflle every other week. The rain does get old quick but it beats the hell out of the fully formed tropical systems.

I hope the weather holds up for Saturday.
Keep the storm clouds away down there and have those tanks ready.
I was a bit worried on Sunday as the cramps came back but they seem to have gone away now. I think it was dehydration from drinking Saturday night.
How come you guys don't drift dive down there? Is it due to shallow waters?

I recall a Florida saying that if you didn't like the weather, wait 5 minutes or move down the street.
Can't say that anymore. Five minutes later, still raining. Down the street, still raining. Darn lake in the back of my house is getting ready to turn my house into a boat soon.
No doubt it is still much better than a windstorm.
