Man I would love to be able to find the quality posts without having to first wade through all the new bulls#$t posts. I do alot more reading than posting but some of this stuff is just ridiculous. Looks like i'll be spending a lot more time on the archived searches. Hope this ends soon.

I found post whoring to be just a minor issue before but with the addition of the credits system, things have gotten out of control. While many of the 'post whores' do make some contribution, I am a little pissed that they are making me sort through so much that has no place on a cigar forum. Hopefully things will settle down a bit but I know there are members here who will only be encouraged to take their whoring to the next level now that they percieve some benefit to doing so. If they need some way to entertain themselves, maybe an additional forum would be warrented simply so we don't bog down the forums that have some value to those of us interested in learning about and discussing cigars, sports, food, or any of the other established topics.

I really agree with this. I think that this should be an option to explore if things don't settle down a little in the coming weeks. I find a lot of valuable info here in the various forums, but I have found that I start to lose interest fast if it's nothing but garbage. People need not get so excited, sit back, relax and enjoy CS for what it was designed for.

The only problem with that is if they are post whoring for buxs they won't post there. they will post where it counts.

So make it count a little bit, but not as much as posting in an informative forum. There are ways of punishment for offenders too.
